Job details:

• To contribute to the content of the Car India and Bike India Magazine – both print and electronic. This includes writing/re-writing/editing news pieces and features, assisting the team in the commissioning of articles, sourcing of photographs, writing headlines, providing inputs to improve layouts and proof-reading of pages. You are required to be self-motivated, and ensure the end-to-end execution of your assigned tasks.

• Ideating/conceptualizing features for the magazine in consultation with the editor.

• Help the Video team generate content + editing of videos. conceptualize & execute online plans to help marketing team generate revenue.

• Delegating news to ensure 2-4 stories go up on carindia.in and bikeindia.in with all relevant social media posts of the same. Daily social media posts across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts with regular creation and posting of innovative Instagram Reels.

• Scheduling of social reader engagement posts for the week.

• Assist in developing plans for new content and content enhancements in line with the divisions' product and market strategy.

• Testing and writing car and bike reviews for print magazines

• To liaise with production departments to ensure timely and accurate production of publications and updation/development of the website.

• To maintain the editorial integrity of the magazine and the reputation of ethics in business enjoyed by the company.

• To assist the team in undertaking research projects including customer requirements/feedback, competitor analysis and market segmentation and putting forward proposed actions as a result.

• To develop excellent work relationships with all team members within the magazine publishing division.

• To ensure that the editorial content is consistently of the highest standards and in keeping with the premium positioning of the magazine.

• Attend previews, product launches, parties, seminars, conferences, fairs & photo shoots.

• Any other tasks assigned by your reporting authority.

Job location - Pune (Camp)

Experience - 5-9 years experience in Auto Journalism
