Role Description The Principal role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bokaro Steel City. The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with relevant university, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Key responsibilities include supervising faculty and staff, guiding curriculum development, monitoring teaching quality, and promoting research and scholarly activities. The Principal will manage admissions and examination processes, implement policies, coordinate with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies, and support student welfare and discipline. The role also involves strategic planning, budget oversight, infrastructure development, and representing the college in academic and public forums.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic qualifications in Law (LL.M. or Ph.D. preferred) from a recognized university, with a strong record of teaching and academic leadership.
- Proven experience in higher education administration, including managing faculty, academic programs, and regulatory compliance in a college or university setting.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to build collaborative teams and foster a positive academic culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, staff, governing bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, inclusive education, and continuous improvement in teaching, research, and student services.
- Experience with policy implementation, accreditation processes, and liaison work with universities, bar councils, or other relevant authorities is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with educational technology, modern pedagogical methods, and quality assurance frameworks in higher education.
