About the School
Birla Open Minds International School, Hisar is an upcoming K–12 school, commencing its first academic session in 2027–28. The school will initially offer admissions from Nursery to Class 5, with a focus on strong academic foundations, curiosity-led learning, creativity, and holistic development.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal to lead the school through its establishment and growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership for the school.
- Lead curriculum planning, implementation, assessment, and academic quality.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing teaching and administrative team.
- Drive teacher recruitment, induction, professional development, and performance management.
- Establish effective school policies, systems, processes, and a positive school culture.
- Monitor student learning, development, and overall wellbeing.
- Lead and oversee the admissions process and parent engagement.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, staff, management, and the wider community.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Represent the school at relevant external forums and community engagements.
- Support the school’s long-term growth and development as it expands towards K–12.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a school leader with:
- Proven experience in academic leadership and school administration.
- Strong understanding of curriculum planning, instructional practices, assessment, and student development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in team building, mentoring, conflict resolution, and staff development.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- A collaborative and growth-oriented leadership approach.
- A passion for creating a positive, inclusive, and future-ready school culture.
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant school leadership qualifications will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a K–12/CBSE school environment will be preferred.
