Hiring for a Principal Associate in Competition Law team at Delhi location
We are looking for a lawyer to join our Competition Law practice in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and a demonstrable interest in competition law and will be keen to work on complex and high‑impact matters. This role offers hands‑on exposure to antitrust investigations, merger control filings, and competition law advisory work, and is well suited for highly motivated self‑starters who are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on competition law investigations before the Competition Commission of India (CCI)
- Handling merger control notifications and related advisory work
- Conducting legal research, drafting submissions and legal opinions
- Supporting litigation and appellate proceedings before competition authorities and courts
- Advising clients on competition law compliance and risk assessment
Eligibility & Qualifications
Relevant Experience
- 4–6 years of post‑qualification experience preferable in competition law
- Prior exposure to data privacy law will be an added advantage
Subject‑Matter Interest & Knowledge
- A clear interest in competition law
- Strong fundamentals of Indian competition law
Academic Credentials
- LL.B. and/or LL.M. from a recognized institution
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to articulate complex legal and economic issues clearly and persuasively
Analytical & Organizational Skills
- Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
