Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or platform architecture.
- Strong expertise in modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Medallion Architecture).
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms on cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep experience with data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- Expertise in data processing frameworks like Spark, Databricks, or Flink.
- Strong experience in data pipeline development and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Matillion, etc.).
- Knowledge of data governance and catalog tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
- Experience with API-driven data services and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (Dimensional, Data Vault, and Normalized models).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and leadership teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML data platforms and feature stores.
- Exposure to streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, or GCP Professional Data Engineer.
- Experience in large-scale data modernization and enterprise data strategy initiatives.
