Key Responsibilities

Do you have a passion for travel and creating unforgettable guest experiences? We are looking for a Shore Excursions Fleet Operations Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of world-class shore excursion programs across our fleet.

This is a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership with global travel. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shore excursion operations on the ships assigned to you, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience ashore. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing tour logistics and operational planning
  • Driving sales and onboard marketing strategies
  • Collaborating with Regional Destination Managers to curate diverse and captivating excursions
  • Ensuring top-tier customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Leading staff training and development to maintain high standards
This is a travel-intensive position: you will spend 3–4 weeks onboard each designated ship, rotating across approximately 50% of the fleet in partnership with other Fleet Operations Managers. Together, you will work closely with onboard Shore Excursion Managers, Assistant Managers, excursion staff, senior shipboard leadership, and regional Destination Managers to deliver a portfolio of tours that cater to a wide range of guest interests, from cultural immersion to adventure experiences.

In this role you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for thousands of guests worldwide while traveling extensively, visiting some of the most exciting destinations across the globe.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5–7 years in shore excursion management or relevant leadership experience.
  • 3–5 years in tour operations, preferably within cruise tourism.
  • Proven ability to manage shore excursion operations in the cruise industry.
  • Strong knowledge of global destinations, local attractions, and tourism trends.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with business applications, computer software, and onboard POS systems.
