PGCPS Career Fair Event

Session Date & Time:

Wednesday, January 11, 2026 - 12 p.m. - 6pm

Location: Prince George School Board Office, 6410 Courts Drive, Prince George, Virginia, 23875

The event aims to connect job seekers with opportunities across Prince George County Public Schools’ various departments, including instruction and support positions. Attendees are encouraged to register early by clicking "REGISTER TODAY" below.

While registration is suggested, walk-in visitors are welcome to attend this event.

What to Expect at the PGCPS' January Career Fair

Division representatives will be available throughout the day to answer questions and help candidates learn more about what PGCPS can offer in full- and part-time capacities during the upcoming school year.

Some of the positions the division will be actively accepting applications include:

Elementary and Secondary Teachers & Paraprofessionals
Career and Technical Education Teachers
Food & Nutritional Services Positions
Operations & Maintenance Personnel
Bus Drivers and Transportation Staff
Custodial Services Personnel

In addition, recent graduates and those looking to switch careers into the education space are encouraged to take part in the upcoming fair.

Discover Affordable Paths to Teacher Licensure with iteach Virginia

The district’s human resources team will also be available to answer questions about alternative pathways to teacher licensure via iteach Virginia. Prince George County Public Schools partnered with iteach Virginia to help aspiring educators achieve their teaching goals through an affordable certification program that prepares them for a career in education.

Incentives Available for Qualifying Positions

Alongside the division’s competitive pay and benefits package, Prince George County Public Schools continues to offer stipends to candidates hired for the following positions for the upcoming school year:

Special Education Teacher - $4,500
Special Education Paraprofessional - $1,000
Career & Technical Education For Credit Teacher - $1,500
Math For Credit Teacher - $1,500
