<strong>What you will do<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead the daily classroom experience for a group of children</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, attentive, and well-managed classroom and playground environment</li>
<li>Implement lesson plans and the daily schedule using the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum</li>
<li>Observe and assess children’s developmental progress on an ongoing basis</li>
<li>Partner with school leadership on student progress meetings and evaluations</li>
<li>Create a classroom environment that is organized, engaging, and confidence-building for children</li>
<li>Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with parents</li>
<li>Set clear expectations for behavior and guide children with consistency and encouragement</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with co-teachers and other classroom faculty</li>
<li>Help maintain the classroom, shared spaces, and playground areas</li>
<li>Attend required faculty meetings, student progress meetings, and school events</li>

<strong>Required qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>High school diploma</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively with classroom faculty and school leadership</li>
<li>Ability to meet the physical demands of an active classroom environment</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Preferred qualifications (not required)<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Associate’s degree, two years of college, or 2 years of relevant experience</li>
<li>EEC Teacher certification</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Professional expectations<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Follow all school policies and all applicable local, state, and national regulations related to the health, safety, and care of children</li>
<li>Maintain a professional appearance consistent with school expectations</li>
<li>Complete required EEC professional development annually</li>
<li>Complete required Primrose training within established timelines</li>
