We are looking for our next dynamic Parts Coordinator to join the Raleigh, NC team!
The Parts Coordinator carries out various administrative and fleet management tasks including parts management, procurement, process implementation, GPS telematics device management, and other systems deployed across Primoris Services Corporation. Generates, distributes, and follows up on scheduled reports related to parts purchases, inventory, and explanations for program exceptions. Ensures standardization of the parts activities across multiple business units / geographic regions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the parts ordering, procurement, inventory management, warranty, and distribution of PSC repair parts, shop supplies, and maintenance parts for all business units; field and in shop.
- Controls all min/max parts inventory for shop and field locations
- Negotiates, with the assistance of the National Accounts management, all parts/tire/maintenance contracts with the PSC preferred vendors.
- Manages the parts warranty process with all vendors and ensures that PSC parts credits/refunds have been collected.
- Keeps assigned parts room in a clean and manageable order
- Ensures that logistical challenges are met in the field to minimize downtime and efficiencies for PSC field and resident technicians.
- Oversees training and development of his/her PSC parts personnel
- Management of standardized parts master in Parts management system (TBA)
- Establishment of min / max of parts on hand for his/her inventory
- Handles all parts for Techs in the shop or field
Requirements and Qualifications:
- At least 2- 5 years’ experience in parts sales
- Ability to follow instructions and processes and communicate effectively.
- Sound knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications
