Position Summary
The Warehouse Operations Coordinator assists and coordinates activities of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving and distributing building materials. Duties include documentation, scheduling, inventory coordination, freight routing support, and safety/inspection processes, and are performed in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process documentation for outbound LTL and parcel shipments
- Ensure proper POD documents per customer + company requirements and confirm deliveries
- Schedule work for special and periodic inventories and assist with cycle counts
- Trace inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain inbound freight calendars
- Support routing of delivery trucks with dedicated carriers
- Coordinate will-call orders with a service-focused approach
- Maintain and document equipment inspections and PIV compliance records
- Upload required documentation to secure networks
- Receive stock into warehouse and reconcile against purchase orders
- Print production work orders and shipping documents
- Assist with monthly warehouse safety inspections
- Perform miscellaneous supporting duties as requested
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (0–1 yrs accepted)
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred:
- SAP or ERP experience
- Warehouse/logistics or supply chain exposure
- Strong communication + documentation accuracy
Work Environment
Work is performed 100% on-site in a warehouse environment. Employee may be exposed to:
- Wet and humid conditions
- Moving mechanical parts
- Outside weather (cold/heat)
- Loud noise levels
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Stand, walk, sit frequently
- Bend, kneel, reach, climb occasionally
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Maintain vision, balance, and hearing for safety
