Lead Software Engineer – Media Streaming Specialist

**Job description** The Media Streaming Specialist will be responsible for building and supporting business critical AV and Non AV related cloud solutions for on-demand and live streaming. The person with high-energy, detail-oriented, capable of taking on multiple projects, and working with the cross-functional teams and highly self-managed position. This is an all-hands-on-deck team in an extremely fast-paced setting. **Qualifications** * Expertise in encoding profiles, bitrate ladders, and video compression technologies. * Expertise in audio/video codecs (AVC/HEVC/DD+, Atmos), HDR (HDR10/Dolby Vision), 4k, DRM technologies (Fairplay, Playready, Widevine, BuyDRM). * Expertise in dynamic ad insertion, both client-side and server-side, technical architecture and design implications for each. * Expertise in cloud VOD transcode and packaging services. * Knowledge of VOD video workflows in the cloud and in on-prem/off-prem environments. * Knowledge of streaming acceleration with CDNs (AWS or AZURE is a plus). * Knowledge of streaming video delivery, video origin architecture, and issues of scale for video delivery. * Knowledge of Kaltura and/or Wowza streaming delivery platform * Knowledge of low latency streaming is a plus * Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving, debugging and decision-making skills. * 5-7 years of experience working in video delivery **Skillset Requirements** * Experience with the following technologies + C#.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, Core Java + HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery + MySQL/MSSQL + Nginx, Kaltura VOD, Wowza Streaming Server * Must be highly process oriented. , , , Full Time, Permanent Media Production & Entertainment - Other Education Any Graduate Key Skills Skills highlighted with ‘‘ are preferred keyskills We are happy to introduce ourselves as a part of the worlds largest media services powerhouse company “Prime Focus”, who is managing the business of Content for Media & Entertainment industry.
