Role 2: Prime Billing Analyst

Position
Role summary:
The Prime Billing Analyst supports the Prime Billing program in preparing and executing monthly billing cycles, collections, and resolving invoice disputes, ensuring adherence to regulatory controls. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly invoice cycle data, reconciliations, analysis and billing completeness.
- Support billing disputes, holds, credits, refunds and other billing-related issues.
- Manage AR Collections activities and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile billing data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
- Maintain documentation of billing processes in accordance with regulatory controls and SOX requirements.
- Generate billing reports and metrics for management review.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Compliance and Client Service teams on billing matters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in billing workflows.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, revenue recognition and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet monthly deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of SOX controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with billing automation tools and systems.
- Understanding of institutional client billing structures and fee models.
