Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Instruction: Developing and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, emphasizing literacy, numeracy, and science.
Assessment & Reporting: Marking work, evaluating student progress, preparing report cards, and discussing progress with parents.
Classroom Management: Establishing a safe, orderly, and engaging environment that encourages positive behavior.
Student Development: Supporting students’ social, emotional, and physical development, including providing individualized attention to those with special educational needs.
Collaboration: Working with teaching assistants, attending staff meetings, and participating in school-wide training.
Extracurricular Involvement: Supervising students during extracurricular activities, trips, and special events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Certification: Valid teaching certification/license appropriate for primary education.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and parents.
Patience & Creativity: Ability to engage young learners with diverse learning styles and manage classroom behavior effectively.
Organization: Strong time management skills to balance teaching, marking, and administrative tasks.
Salary:23K-25K
Bachelor's degree in Education or primary specialization.
Valid state/national teaching license or certification.
Child protection/background clearance (e.g., DBS check).
