Role Description The Primary Coordinator (Cambridge Grade 1–5) will oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and review for the Cambridge primary grades, ensuring alignment with school standards and Cambridge guidelines. This full-time role involves guiding and mentoring teachers, coordinating lesson plans, observing classes, and providing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality teaching and learning. The Primary Coordinator will collaborate with school leadership on timetables, assessments, academic events, and parent communication, ensuring smooth daily operations in the primary section. Responsibilities include supporting student progress tracking, coordinating remedial and enrichment programs, organizing training sessions for teachers, and contributing to school improvement initiatives. This is an on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in school activities and meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in primary education pedagogy, with hands-on experience in Cambridge curriculum (preferably Cambridge Primary) and familiarity with CBSE frameworks.
- Proven experience in academic coordination, including lesson planning oversight, assessment design, and instructional support for teachers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with learners, caregivers, teachers, and school leadership.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle timetables, academic calendars, documentation, and multiple priorities efficiently.
- Comfort with basic educational technology tools for lesson delivery, communication, and student progress tracking.
- Ability to foster an inclusive, learner-centered environment that supports diverse learning needs and promotes holistic development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience as a primary teacher; experience as a coordinator, head teacher, or similar academic leadership role is an advantage.
- Openness to continuous professional development, reflective practice, and alignment with the school’s values and child-centered philosophy.
