Ocean Freight Pricing - USA Market
Sunsky Logistics Ltd. is inviting applications from motivated and result-oriented professionals for the role of Pricing Profile in Ocean USA Market at our Ahmedabad location.
We are looking for a dynamic professional to handle Ocean Freight Pricing for the USA market. The role involves managing carrier relationships, negotiating competitive rates, and supporting the sales team with timely and accurate pricing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute ocean freight pricing for the USA trade lane
- Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, and agents for competitive rate procurement
- Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers
- Provide timely quotations to the sales team and clients
- Analyse market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing
- Maintain and update pricing databases and rate sheets
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
- Handle RFQs, tenders, and long-term pricing agreements
- Ensure profitability and margin control on all pricing activities
Key Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in ocean pricing
- Strong knowledge of the USA trade lane
- Good understanding of shipping lines, routing, and market dynamics
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing tools
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in handling USA Ocean pricing
- Existing relationships with carriers and agents will be an added advantage
