Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pricing Manager specializing in Freight Forwarding, based in Chennai. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, analyzing market data, preparing competitive quotations, and collaborating with sales teams to ensure profitability. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating supplier costs, negotiating with carriers, monitoring market trends, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to optimize pricing models and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in pricing strategies, rate negotiations, and understanding freight forwarding operations
- Strong analytical and market research skills to evaluate costs, trends, and data for pricing decisions
- Effective communication, stakeholder relationship management, and collaboration skills
Proven experience in handling pricing for Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra, and Chennai ports
• Strong knowledge of export/import pricing (FCL/LCL preferred)
• Experience in carrier negotiations and rate procurement
• Fluency in spoken Hindi (mandatory)
• Good communication and coordination skills
