Job Title: Pricing Manager (Air & Sea Freight)Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pricing Manager with strong expertise in air and sea freight. The ideal candidate will have well-established relationships with carriers /shipping lines, deep knowledge of trade lanes, and a proven ability to develop competitive pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage pricing strategies for air and sea freight services
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with carriers, airlines, and shipping lines
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with logistics partners
- Monitor market trends, trade lane dynamics, and competitor pricing
- Provide accurate and timely quotations to internal teams and clients
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support business growth
- Analyse cost structures and recommend pricing improvements
- Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and market standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in pricing within freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong existing relationships with carriers /shipping lines / IATA Agents
- In-depth knowledge of major trade lanes (air and sea)
- Prior experience handling both air freight and ocean freight pricing
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in international logistics or freight forwarding companies
- Familiarity with pricing tools and logistics software
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
