Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pricing Manager role based in Gandhidham. The Pricing Manager will evaluate and develop freight and logistics pricing strategies across services such as transportation, warehousing, packaging, and customs clearance. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market rates and competitor pricing, preparing customer quotations, optimizing margins while maintaining competitiveness, and updating rate sheets and pricing tools. The role involves close collaboration with sales, operations, and finance teams to create cost-effective proposals, support bids and tenders, and ensure pricing aligns with service capabilities and customer requirements. The Pricing Manager will also monitor profitability, recommend adjustments based on market trends, and support continuous improvement in pricing processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and quantitative skills for cost analysis, rate comparison, and margin optimization.
- Candidates should possess pricing and commercial acumen, including experience preparing quotations, bids, and customer proposals.
- Candidates should possess logistics and supply chain knowledge, ideally in areas such as transportation, warehousing, packaging, and customs clearance.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and pricing tools, along with good data management and reporting skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with sales, operations, finance, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in pricing, logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding is preferred.
