Position: Sea Import Pricing Executive

Location: Okhla Phase II, New Dellhi - 110020

Company: Contrans Group (Delhi-based leading Freight Forwarding Company)

We are Delhi based Freight Forwarding Company having pan India presence, we specialize in freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance & inland transportation. We are looking for a candidate from freight forwarding background who can help us in expanding our business in Mumbai & nearby areas.

Ideal candidate should have an experience of 2-3 years in core freight forwarding, handling Sea Imports Pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Freight Pricing Management

• Manage end-to-end pricing for sea import shipments, including Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL).
• Develop competitive pricing solutions aligned with market trends and customer requirements.

2. Rate Procurement & Negotiation

• Obtain freight rates from shipping lines and overseas agents.
• Negotiate pricing, transit terms, and service conditions to secure cost-effective and reliable options.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and international partners to ensure priority access to competitive rates.

3. Quotation Management

• Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotations for the sales team.
• Ensure all quotes include applicable surcharges, transit times, and service details.
• Support the sales team in closing deals by providing strategic pricing inputs.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments.
• Provide pricing guidance during shipment planning and resolve any cost-related challenges.

5. Market Analysis & Strategy

• Monitor market trends, freight rate fluctuations, and capacity changes.
• Update pricing strategies in response to market dynamics, seasonality, and demand-supply changes.
• Share market intelligence with internal stakeholders to support business decisions.

6. Rate Sheet Management & Profitability

• Maintain and regularly update rate sheets for different trade lanes and services.
• Ensure pricing structures are aligned with company profitability targets.
• Analyze margins and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in any stream, PGDM/MBA preferred.
• Good understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
