Role Description The Pricing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for developing, reviewing, and updating pricing structures for fulfillment and shipping services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing cost and market data, preparing rate proposals, maintaining pricing databases, and supporting the sales team with accurate quotations. The role also involves collaborating with operations, finance, and customer service teams to align pricing with service levels, identifying opportunities for margin improvement, and assisting in training colleagues on pricing policies and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret cost, volume, and market data and support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting pricing information clearly.
- Customer service skills to understand client needs and support customer-facing teams with pricing-related queries.
- Sales and training skills to assist in creating competitive proposals and guide team members on pricing processes.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and pricing tools; familiarity with logistics or e-commerce environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers, meet deadlines, and manage multiple pricing requests simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
