Software Engineer

Are you ready to help millions of users create visually stunning presentations? Prezi is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Content Team.

We’re a team of 6 engineers working to transform user prompts into captivating, ready-to-present slides. Our stack includes TypeScript as the primary programming language and React as the main library. Using a combination of frontend development, expert prompt engineering, and design collaboration, we bring our users' visions to life.

Your Role at Prezi

You'll be working in an agile, collaborative environment where you’ll contribute your skills to delivering cutting-edge, AI-assisted tools that allow users to generate presentation-ready Prezi slides with ease.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our Product Manager, UX Designer, and Graphics Designer to build and enhance visual editing workflows.
• Develop and extend features for the modular, plugin-based architecture.
• Utilize generative AI solutions to deliver stunning, presentation-ready outputs for users.
• Maintain a high-quality codebase ensuring performance under varying hardware and network conditions.
• Champion initiatives with a product-focused, ownership-driven mindset, planning and delivering user-oriented solutions.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years in software development with proficiency in statically typed programming languages (TypeScript, Java, C#, or C++).
• A self-driven, quality-oriented approach to work.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.
• A genuine interest in product design.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in prompt engineering or working with generative AI models.
• Advanced education in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Frontend web application development expertise.
• Familiarity with performance-critical systems and improving concurrency or memory usage.
