Role Description
This is a full-time Job role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for a Preventive Maintenance Systems (PMS) Executive. The PMS Executive will oversee the implementation and management of preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include creating and monitoring maintenance plans, coordinating with teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks, and maintaining accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing maintenance budgets, and providing training to relevant team members. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and troubleshoot issues is a key part of the role.
Preventive Maintenance Oversight
- Coordinate scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance for rigs
- Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules and company standards
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and equipment history
- Generate PMS compliance and performance reports
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between Head Office and rig maintenance teams
- Communicate maintenance updates and schedules effectively
Resource Allocation
- Coordinate spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations
- Track certifications and inspections
Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Address maintenance-related issues promptly
- Analyze maintenance data and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
• 1–5 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Preventive Maintenance Systems (PMS) in rig or heavy-industry environments
• Strong technical foundation: diesel engines, generators, pumps, motors, mechanical elements, and metallurgy
• Basic working knowledge of PLCs and SLRs
• Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS platforms; AutoCAD knowledge is a bonus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
• Knowledge of oil & gas industry standards and equipment maintenance best practices is highly desirable.
