Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Preventive Maintenance Engineer - Electrical, based in Coimbatore. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting electrical faults, overseeing equipment repairs, and implementing maintenance plans to prolong equipment life and minimize downtime. The position requires collaboration with the operations team to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair tasks to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Experience in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, particularly within renewable energy or related industries.
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance, including diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise for electrical systems.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and protocols in the operations and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment under time constraints.
- Familiarity with wind turbine operations and the renewable energy sector is advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site and conduct field visits as required.
