Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Preventive Maintenance Engineer - Electrical to join our on-site team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will oversee preventive and routine maintenance of wind turbine electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reducing the risk of failures. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, implementing maintenance schedules, inspecting equipment, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with the operations team to enhance asset efficiency. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in line with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Equipment Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Electrical Maintenance practices
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance Engineering principles and Maintenance & Repair operations
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical system issues efficiently
- Understanding of safety protocols and standards specific to electrical systems and industrial equipment
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Relevant experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related industry is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
