We aggregate global trade, pricing, demand dynamics, growth factors and regulatory intelligence, enriched with human insights from domain experts across verticals such as pharma, agro, rubber, water treatment, and electronics.
We're building the first-of-its-kind chemical intelligence engine where real-world expert knowledge meets AI-powered data clarity.
As part of this mission, we are inviting senior chemical industry leaders to join us as Experts-in-Residence — not just to advise, but to co-create a platform that connects companies across the chemical value chain, and defines a new standard for how actionable insights are generated, validated, and shared globally.
What Success Looks Like
As a President / Expert-in-Residence, your strategic insights will play a key role in ensuring the authenticity, commercial value, and depth of Market Krystal’s intelligence. You will become a thought partner, data validator, and vertical ambassador, trusted by global buyers, suppliers, and analysts.
Responsibilities
· Validate market data, trends, and product-level insights within your domain
· Offer commercial and technical guidance on high-demand chemicals, trade flows, and regulatory nuances
· Participate in quarterly insight panels and expert roundtables
· Mentor internal teams with industry context behind supply-demand, margin behavior, and buyer sentiment
· Identify blind spots in market intelligence, helping enhance our data models and AI predictions
· Support strategic engagement with enterprise clients (optionally)
Qualifications
· Minimum 20 years of leadership experience in chemical manufacturing, sourcing, commercial strategy, regulatory affairs, or related functions
· Proven domain expertise in one or more sectors: pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, electronics, water treatment, specialty chemicals, or industrial chemicals
· Strong understanding of global and regional supply chains, trade dynamics, and procurement ecosystems
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of providing clear, actionable insights
· A collaborative mindset, with openness to engage with startups, AI-led platforms, and digital transformation initiatives
· A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred. An MBA or equivalent in Strategy, Marketing, or Operations is a plus — but if you bring deep industry expertise and meet the other criteria, this may still be you
· Board or advisory experience is a plus, but not mandatory
