Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary
President Unit Head to lead the complete operations of a large Integrated Steel Plant. The role requires strong techno-commercial acumen, strategic leadership, and end-to-end plant management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall plant operations including BF, SMS, Sinter, Rolling Mill, Power Plant, and allied units
- Drive production efficiency, cost optimization, quality improvement, and safety standards
- Develop and execute long-term operational and expansion strategies
- Ensure statutory compliance, ESG adherence, and regulatory approvals
- Manage PL responsibility and optimize operational budgets
- Build and mentor senior leadership teams across departments
- Coordinate with corporate leadership, government authorities, and key stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- 25+ years of experience in Integrated Steel Plant operations
- Strong exposure to large-scale manufacturing and heavy engineering environments
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent strategic planning and decision-making capabilities
- Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and operational excellence
