Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Teacher role based in Bengaluru. The Preschool Teacher will deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school’s play-based and child-centric philosophy for Playgroup, Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG learners. Responsibilities include creating engaging classroom activities, facilitating learning through play, storytelling, songs, and hands-on projects, and supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. The teacher will observe and document children’s progress, maintain a safe and orderly classroom, and collaborate closely with colleagues to implement the curriculum consistently. The role also involves regular communication with families, participation in school events, STEAM days, field trips, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, with experience in preschool or Kindergarten settings.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for children aged 1.5–6 years.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage young learners and build effective partnerships with families and colleagues.
- Relevant certification, diploma, or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Strong classroom management, observation, and documentation skills, with attention to child safety and well-being.
- Comfort using basic educational technology or school apps for communication and reporting.
- Positive, patient, and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and child-centered teaching practices.
