We are looking for a creative and experienced Preschool Curriculum Designer to develop a structured, engaging, and age-appropriate curriculum for children aged 2 to 6 years. The role involves designing learning frameworks, activity-based lesson plans, and teacher guides aligned with modern early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori, Play-way, and EYFS.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Development
- Design a comprehensive curriculum for:
- Playgroup
- Nursery
- Jr KG
- Sr KG
- Develop monthly themes, weekly lesson plans, and daily activity plans
- Create age-appropriate learning objectives and developmental milestones
Content & Activity Design
- Develop engaging learning materials including:
- Worksheets
- Activity sheets
- Storytelling modules
- Rhymes and phonics plans
- Create hands-on activities focusing on:
- Language development
- Motor skills
- Cognitive skills
- Social and emotional learning
Teacher Enablement
- Prepare teacher manuals and training guides
- Conduct training sessions for teachers on curriculum delivery
- Ensure curriculum is easy to implement in classrooms
Assessment & Reporting
- Design child assessment frameworks (non-exam based)
- Create formats for:
- Progress reports
- Observation sheets
- Parent communication
Continuous Improvement
- Regularly update curriculum based on feedback
- Align curriculum with NEP (National Education Policy) guidelines
- Incorporate innovative teaching practices and tools
Key Qualifications- Bachelor’s / Master’s in:
- Early Childhood Education (ECCE)
- Education / Psychology
- Montessori / ECCE certification preferred
Experience- 3–8 years experience in:
- Preschool curriculum design
- Academic roles in early education
- Montessori / Play-school setups
Key Skills- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Creativity in designing engaging activities
- Knowledge of Montessori / EYFS / Play-way methods
- Excellent content creation and structuring skills
- Strong communication and training ability
