Job Title: Pre-Sales Technical and Content Writer – GIS
*Location:* Noida (Work from Office)
## About the Role
Mapex is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient *Pre-Sales Technical Writer* to support the business development and pre-sales team by creating compelling, high-quality proposals, technical documentation, RFP/RFI responses, capability statements, and client presentations. Excluding that content creation, case study preparation, block writing in social media and website. The ideal candidate should have experience in the GIS/Geospatial domain and be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused content.
## Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and develop high-quality technical proposals, RFIs, RFPs, EOIs, and tender responses.
· Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Delivery, GIS SMEs, and Business Development teams to gather technical inputs and prepare winning proposals.
· Develop compelling solution documents, technical approach notes, methodologies, case studies, and capability statements.
· Create client presentations, solution briefs, white papers, brochures, and technical marketing collateral
· Ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with client requirements and company standards.
· Review tender documents, identify compliance requirements, and coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely submissions.
· Maintain a repository of reusable proposal content, templates, and technical documentation.
· Preparation of Inception Report, Project Report and Draft and Final Report
· Continuously improve proposal quality, formatting, and messaging to enhance win rates.
· Create content for social media and website
· Working closely with Sr. Management, preparing technical minutes of meeting, updating CRM and its analytics
· Involved in technical discussion and presentation with client
## Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geology, Geography, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3 – 7 years of experience in Technical Writing, Proposal Writing, or Pre-Sales Documentation.
• Experience working in the GIS, Geospatial, Remote Sensing, Mapping, Smart City, Utility, Infrastructure, or Engineering domain is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in preparing RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and bid documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical solutions and present them in a client-friendly manner.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and document formatting.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
## Preferred Experience
• Exposure to GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, AutoCAD Map, or similar geospatial technologies.
• Experience in government tenders, geospatial consulting, or engineering services.
• Knowledge of proposal management and bid lifecycle.
