Job Title: Presales Solution Architect - Telecom Domain
Location: Tech M Offshore
Years of Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in E2E Solutioning for Telecom domain.
Job Summary:
Highly skilled and experienced Presales Solution Architect with deep Telecom expertise, strong enterprise architecture background, and a proven ability to craft compelling transformation narratives. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in storytelling, value articulation, and executive-level presentations—with a track record of influencing CXOs and shaping large-scale transformation programs.
In addition to strong technical expertise, this role demands thought leadership, participation in telecom industry forums, creation of industry solutions, and experience working with leading COTS technology platforms across BSS, OSS, Network, Cloud and Digital domains.
Responsibilities:
- Lead solutioning for BSS/OSS, 5G, Network Modernization, Cloud-native architectures, AI/automation, digital experience, and enterprise transformation.
- Architect optimal solutions leveraging strategic alliances with COTS / SaaS platforms, internal IP and service line offerings.
- Create persuasive storylines, value propositions, and transformation journeys tailored for CXO and senior executive audiences.
- Deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and workshops that clearly communicate business value and competitive differentiation.
- Drive creation of industry solutions, accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable frameworks to strengthen Tech Mahindra’s Telecom portfolio.
- Represent the organization at industry events, panels, partner forums, and analyst briefings through thought leadership contributions.
- Publish or contribute to whitepapers, PoVs, blogs, and solution blueprints aligned to global telecom trends.
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, engineering, and product units to shape viable, future-proof solutions aligned to strategic goals.
- Support complex bids end-to-end by providing solution architecture, integration strategy, risk mitigation, and clear articulation of value and differentiation
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong background in Enterprise Architecture and E2E Telecom solutioning, proven across Tier-1/Tier-2 operator engagements for B2C/B2B/Wholesale customer segments
- Deep understanding of Telecom BSS/OSS, 5G, Cloud, Network transformation, and AI/automation in the telecom ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience designing solutions around major COTS platforms for IT & Business transformation programs, IT Managed Services, Legacy modernization, Cost take-out
- Demonstrated storytelling and value articulation skills to build compelling business narratives, business cases, and innovation pitches.
- Excellent presentation skills — able to translate complex architectures into clear, impactful, and engaging messaging.
- Proven experience in building or contributing to Telecom thought leadership through publications, events, and knowledge initiatives.
- Ability to lead senior executive discussions, run architecture workshops, and articulate differentiation in competitive environments.
- Strong analytical, consultative, and problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Participation in global telecom/technology bodies (TM Forum, GSMA, ETSI, MEF, ONAP communities).
- Experience in building industry-specific solution frameworks or reusable assets.
- Understanding of Business cases, commercial models, estimation techniques
- Knowledge of telecom compliance, regulatory, and industry-specific governance requirements.
- Understanding of Agile, DevOps, microservices, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, TM Forum Frameworx, AWS/Azure Architect, or platform certifications (Salesforce, ServiceNOW, Hansen etc.).
