Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Presales Business Analyst who has hands-on experience with Upwork bidding, lead generation, and client communication in the IT services industry. The ideal candidate should understand modern technology trends including AI, LLMs, EDI solutions, automation, cloud, and enterprise software development, and should be capable of identifying high-value opportunities, crafting winning proposals, and supporting deal closures.
This role requires someone who can think strategically, improve bidding approaches continuously, and work closely with technical teams to convert quality leads into long-term business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on relevant projects across Upwork and other freelance platforms
- Understand client requirements and prepare customized proposals aligned with modern technology stacks such as AI, LLMs, EDI, automation, SaaS, cloud, web, and mobile solutions
- Generate qualified leads and coordinate with the technical team during discussions and solution planning
- Handle client communication from initial outreach to proposal submission and follow-ups
- Contribute towards closure of high-ticket projects and long-term contracts
- Research market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to improve bidding success rates
- Develop and implement new bidding and lead generation strategies to increase conversions
- Maintain proposal quality, response timelines, and CRM records
- Participate in discovery calls and requirement understanding sessions with prospects
Required Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in IT presales, Upwork bidding, or business development
- Strong understanding of latest technology domains including:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- EDI Solutions
- Automation
- SaaS Platforms
- Web & Mobile Development
- Cloud Technologies
- Experience handling Upwork bidding independently
- Strong communication and proposal writing skills
- Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into business opportunities
- Experience working on high-value or enterprise-level project bidding
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills
- Knowledge of lead generation and client acquisition strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling international clients
- Understanding of enterprise software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines
- Ability to work with targets and conversion metrics
