Role Overview:
The Pre-Sales Executive – Corporate Partnerships is the frontline engine of FatakPay's B2B growth. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying corporate accounts that can offer FatakPay's employee financial wellness products — including salary advance, virtual credit, and BNPL — to their workforce. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and senior partnership managers to build a strong prospect pipeline, conduct discovery meetings with HR and leadership teams, and set up high-conversion handoffs for closures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Prospecting & Lead Generation • Identify and research target companies — mid-to-large corporates (500+ employees) across sectors such as manufacturing, IT, retail, logistics, healthcare, and BFSI • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zaubacorp, IndiaMART, industry directories, and event databases • Execute outbound outreach via cold calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn DMs, and WhatsApp to generate qualified meetings for the partnership team • Attend industry HR events, payroll conferences, and fintech expos to generate partner leads in person
2. Discovery & Qualification • Conduct initial discovery calls and meetings with HR Heads, CHROs, CFOs, and Admin Heads to understand workforce size, existing employee benefit structure, and pain points • Qualify leads based on employee headcount, salary disbursement model, payroll partner, and willingness to offer financial wellness benefits • Map decision-making stakeholders within each account and identify the economic buyer vs. champion • Use BANT or similar frameworks to qualify urgency, budget authority, and partnership fit
3. Pitch, Presentation & Proposal Support • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and decks showcasing FatakPay's corporate partnership model, employee benefits, and ROI for the organisation • Conduct product walkthroughs and demo sessions for HR and finance teams — covering the app, credit flow, and employee onboarding journey • Draft customised partnership proposals, MOU summaries, and commercial outlines in coordination with senior managers • Respond to corporate RFIs and queries on compliance, data security, KYC processes, and NBFC partnership structure
4. Pipeline & CRM Management • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all leads, interactions, meeting notes, and deal stages in the CRM (HubSpot / Salesforce or internal tool) • Ensure consistent follow-up cadence across cold, warm, and hot leads — with no lead going stale beyond defined SLAs • Provide weekly pipeline reports and conversion metrics to the Partnerships Head • Coordinate internally with onboarding, product, and compliance teams to ensure smooth handoff postqualification
5. Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop • Track competitor offerings in the employee financial wellness space (e.g. Refyne, Salary Finance, KreditBee for Workforce) and report positioning insights • Gather and relay prospect feedback on product gaps, pricing sensitivity, and HR decision triggers to the product and marketing teams • Help build reusable pitch collateral — case studies, one-pagers, objection-handling guides — based on field learnings
Experience •
1–3 years in corporate sales, B2B partnerships, inside sales, or pre-sales — ideally in fintech, HRtech, SaaS, BFSI, or employee benefits • Prior exposure to engaging HR, Admin, or Finance stakeholders in corporate accounts is a strong advantage • Experience with outbound outreach tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, email sequences) preferred
Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi (Marathi a plus for Mumbai accounts)
• Strong research, prospecting, and lead qualification abilities
• Ability to build and deliver clear, persuasive presentations to business stakeholders
• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working toward monthly meeting and pipeline targets
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM familiarity (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Education Graduate in any discipline; MBA or PGDM in Sales / Marketing / Finance preferred but not mandatory
