This is a Melbourne based non-for-profit organisation that is committed to “a mentally healthy and culturally thriving Australia” – through delivery of prevention-focussed mental health activities for all peoples. Founded in 2012, they have traditionally supported men through midlife mental health challenges. The foundation has now evolved to deliver sustained positive mental health outcomes to organisations, individuals (men and women) and communities through meaningful prevention-focussed positive mental health programs.

About The Role

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails
  • Organise and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Maintain contact lists and database
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior managers

About You

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Natural problem solver
