Premier Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine is a well-established, patient-centered medical group committed to excellence in respiratory and sleep medicine across North Texas. With a robust and loyal referral network, state-of-the-art technology, and continued growth, we are expanding our services and seeking a skilled Interventional Pulmonologist to help lead and grow our advanced pulmonary program. Current group physicians practice interventional pulmonary however due to large volume are looking to add an interventional pulmonologist /Advanced bronchoscopist to the group.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who enjoys procedural medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to shape a service line within a supportive, physician-led practice.
Position Overview
The Interventional Pulmonologist will deliver advanced diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary care, The role offers immediate procedural volume, strong collaboration with regional specialists, and access to cutting-edge equipment.
This position is ideal for a physician who values innovation, clinical excellence, and meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures
- ION robotic bronchoscopy with CBCT
- Radial and linear EBUS
- Airway stenting and dilation
- Cryotherapy
- Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC)
- Thoracentesis and pleural catheter placement
- Percutaneous tracheostomy
- Tumor board/Lung nodule navigator at the affiliated hospital
- Strong thoracic surgery support
Clinical & Collaborative Care
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex airway, lung, and pleural diseases
- Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, radiology, and critical care
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case conferences
- Educate patients and families on procedures and disease management
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (optional)
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology or advanced bronchoscopic procedures is a must
- Active unrestricted Texas medical licensure
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong procedural skills and commitment to patient-centered care
