You will be working with one of our clients, a leading computer vision company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions for a variety of industries.
As a Software Engineer at Premier Pixel, you will assist in the development and optimization of software solutions in Python, contributing to our client's mission to develop state-of-the-art computer vision technologies. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of engineers to design scalable and efficient systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining Python-based software solutions for computer vision applications.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate machine learning models and imaging pipelines into software systems.
- Participate in code reviews and documentation to help maintain high standards.
- Support continuous testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Learn from senior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance software capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Document design processes, software architecture, and workflows for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of Python, including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and OpenCV.
- A foundational understanding of computer vision concepts and experience with vision frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV).
- Familiarity with Python frameworks for production applications.
- An understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Basic experience with continuous testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with open-source projects in computer vision or Python-related tools.
- Familiarity with GPU programming and performance optimization (e.g., CUDA).
- Knowledge of edge AI and deploying vision models on edge devices.
- Prior experience with cloud-based computer vision solutions.
