**Working Student for Machine Learning Applications (m/f/d)** ** Intern / Student, Part-time · Munich** **Your Responsibilities** As a fast growing Vision/AI company for the food industry with entities in Germany, India and our headquartes in the US, we are developing highly innovative software products helping our customers to contribute to sustainability. Reducing CO2 emission by reducing food-waste as well as a more effective personnel planning help our customers to use their ressources more effectively. At our entity in Munich we want to expand our ML/AI teams. Therefore, we are looking for a working student as a Machine Learning Engineer, who is skilled in the technologies mentioned below. At PreciTaste, you are going to: * work with cutting-edge technologies in deep learning and computer vision * assist our AI team to improve our machine learning models, tools and algorithms * implement and test new tools and algorithms to improve our products **Your profile** You are: * pursuing a degree in computer science, robotics, mathematics or similar * You live in the greater Munich area and are willing to come to our office 2 days a week * good knowledge in machine learning, especially deep learning * good knowledge of Python programming and experienced with PyTorch (or Tensorflow) * first computer vision experience and knowledge about model life cycle (training, evaluation, deployment) is an advantage * motivated to learn new methods and skills * able and willing to work independently to reach predefined results **What We Offer** Our systems optimize restaurant operations by solving a supply and demand problem. We estimate sales numbers, monitor inventory, and advise the crew on what to cook when in order not to stock out while keeping food as fresh as possible and minimizing waste. Our platform consists of multiple edge devices running different machine learning and computer vision algorithms and a restaurant server that serves UIs to the crew.
