The Centre Head will serve as the operational and academic leader of the preschool, responsible for overseeing day-to-day management, staff supervision, curriculum implementation, parent engagement, and ensuring the highest standards of early childhood education. The ideal candidate should not be over 40 years of age, should have at least five years of experience in preschool leadership, fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, and passionate about nurturing young minds.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a smooth, safe, and stimulating environment for children.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and school policies.
- Manage admissions, enrolment targets, and student records in coordination with the management team.
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices, brain-based learning, and integrated thematic teaching.
- Regularly observe classrooms, provide academic support, and maintain quality of teaching.
- Organize professional development workshops and training sessions for staff.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-quality educators and caregivers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Diploma/Certification in in Early Childhood Education or Montessori education
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a preschool, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or coordinator role
