About The Role
XaasIO is looking for a Pre-Sales & Solution Architect for the XaasIO Cloud Management Platform (CMP) and related private cloud, hybrid cloud, automation, monitoring, ITSM, and infrastructure orchestration solutions.
The candidate will act as a customer-facing technical solution leader who can understand business requirements, map them to XaasIO CMP capabilities, and design solutions across OpenStack, Kubernetes, public cloud services, ITSM, Ansible automation, networking, NFVs, observability, backup, replication, and day-2 operations.
This role requires strong communication skills, sharp observation skills, problem-solving ability, and the maturity to handle high-pressure customer meetings, technical escalations, solution objections, and architecture discussions.
Key Responsibilities
The Candidate Will Be Responsible For
- Leading customer-facing pre-sales discussions, solution discovery meetings, technical workshops, demos, and architecture reviews.
- Understanding customer business requirements, existing infrastructure, operational challenges, compliance needs, and cloud transformation roadmap.
- Positioning XaasIO CMP as a unified cloud management, orchestration, automation, governance, and self-service platform.
Solution Architecture Design

- Conducting Day-0 discovery workshops to capture customer requirements, current-state architecture, operational processes, integration points, risks, and dependencies.
- Supporting Day-1 solution planning for implementation readiness, prerequisites, test cases, acceptance criteria, and go-live planning.
Day-2 Operations Design
Helping Define Day-2 Operations Model, Including
- SLA and support process
- Incident management

- Monitoring and alerting requirements

Collaboration & Sales Support
- Working with delivery, product, engineering, and support teams to convert customer requirements into implementable solution designs.
- Supporting RFP/RFI responses, technical compliance matrices, customer questionnaires, solution presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Handling customer technical objections, escalations, architecture clarifications, and solution fitment discussions.
- Observing customer pain points, operational gaps, risks, dependencies, and hidden requirements during meetings and workshops.
- Supporting sales teams with technical qualification, solution positioning, value proposition, competitive differentiation, and deal strategy.
- Maintaining reusable solution artifacts, reference architectures, standard proposal content, diagrams, demo scripts, and customer presentation templates.

- Can work with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical and deliverable.
- Can observe customer requirements, risks, gaps, and decision factors during meetings.
- Can support enterprise, government, BFSI, telecom, and service provider cloud opportunities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Certifications in OpenStack, Kubernetes, Linux, public cloud, ITSM, Ansible, networking, or security will be an added advantage.
