Role Description; Location: Bengaluru, Delhi (On-site)
Role Overview - Value Craft Managers [Pre- Sales]
As a Pre-Sales Manager – HCM Products, you will be at the forefront of driving solution excellence and deal conversion for Tapplent’s Human Capital Management platform. You will partner closely with Sales to shape winning strategies, engage CXOs, and translate complex HR challenges into compelling, outcome-driven solutions.
This role demands a blend of domain expertise, storytelling, and solution design, playing a critical role in influencing enterprise buying decisions and accelerating revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers to understand their business goals and technical requirements
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations customized to client contexts
- Lead demo engineering, including configuring demo environments and building scenario-based flows
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align demos with latest capabilities and roadmaps
- Own responses to RFPs, RFIs, and solution proposals with clear articulation of value
- Conduct workshops, sales discovery sessions, and consultative engagements with client stakeholders
- Support the sales team in creating business cases, value decks, and solution strategies
- Act as a trusted advisor across the presale's lifecycle, from qualification to closure
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting within HCM / HR Tech
- An understanding of HCM domains - Core HR, PMS, Payroll, Talent, Learning, Workforce Management will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in enterprise SaaS deal cycles and solution selling
- Ability to engage and influence CXOs (CHRO, CIO, CFO) with strategic conversations
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in handling RFPs, solution design, and enterprise deal support
- MBA / Engineering or equivalent experience from a reputed institution

- Deal conversion support contributing to projected ARR pipeline annually
- High-quality demo-to-deal conversion ratio
- Timely and effective RFP/RFI submissions
