Role OverviewWe are looking for a confident, well-spoken, and proactive Pre-Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to support our growth efforts. This person will play a key role in helping us generate leads, connect with prospects, and schedule meetings for the leadership team.
The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a services-based business, with strong spoken and written English skills. They should be comfortable communicating with prospects professionally over email, LinkedIn, and calls, and should be able to represent EventIron well in early-stage conversations.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys prospect research, outreach, follow-ups, relationship building, and sales coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting- Identify potential prospects and target accounts aligned with EventIron’s services
- Research companies, decision-makers, and relevant contacts using LinkedIn, company websites, and other sources
- Build and maintain prospect lists for outbound campaigns
- Support lead generation through email outreach, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up activities
Outreach & Early-Stage Engagement- Draft and send clear, personalized, and professional outreach messages
- Engage with prospects in a confident and polished manner
- Follow up consistently to generate responses and move conversations forward
- Qualify initial interest and identify relevant business opportunities
Meeting & Call Scheduling- Coordinate with prospects to schedule discovery calls and introductory meetings
- Manage calendar coordination with the internal leadership team
- Ensure prospects are well-informed ahead of meetings
- Send reminders and maintain smooth follow-up communication
Sales Coordination & Support- Work closely with leadership to understand target customer profiles and service offerings
- Maintain proper records of lead status, conversations, and next steps
- Prepare basic account or prospect summaries ahead of meetings
- Support proposal follow-ups and general pre-sales coordination as required
Reporting & Process Management- Update lead trackers, CRM, or spreadsheets with accurate information
- Share regular updates on outreach efforts, meetings booked, and pipeline progress
- Help improve outreach messaging, lead quality, and coordination workflows over time
Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a services industry such as consulting, agency, IT services, marketing services, SaaS services, or business services
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Confident in speaking with prospects and representing the company professionally
- Comfortable with lead research, follow-ups, and appointment setting
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, email outreach, Excel/Google Sheets, and CRM tools is a plus
