Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Pre‑Sales Associate focused on outbound and inbound parent outreach. The role’s primary objective is to contact assigned leads (parents), understand their needs, and convert calls into office visits and enrollments. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead outreach: Call and follow up on assigned parent leads via phone, WhatsApp, and email; maintain high daily contact volumes.
- Discovery & needs assessment: Ask focused questions to understand the child’s grade, board/exam, learning gaps, schedule constraints, and enrollment urgency.
- Persuasion & appointment setting: Convince parents to visit the nearest Physics Wallah office for a demo/assessment and walk-in enrollment; schedule appointments and send reminders.
- Objection handling: Address common parental concerns about fees, curriculum fit, coaching quality, and timings; escalate complex queries to senior sales or academic teams.
- Demo & conversion support: Coordinate with on-site counselors and faculty to ensure smooth walk-ins and maximize enrollment conversions.
- Follow-up: Re-engage no-shows, nurture warm leads, and close enrollments through timely calls and messages.
- CRM maintenance: Log all interactions, update lead status, and follow prescribed workflows in KEKA/CRM.
- Targets: Meet daily/weekly targets for calls made, appointments set, walk-ins converted, and enrollments closed.
- Reporting & feedback: Share insights on frequently raised issues, competitor pricing, and parental preferences to improve offerings and messaging.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 0–3 years in tele-sales, inside sales, customer service, or admissions counselling; experience in education or coaching centers preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong spoken English and comfortable communicating in Hindi and Telugu.
- Excellent persuasion and phone-selling skills; clear, confident voice and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Good listening and questioning skills to qualify leads effectively.
- Target-oriented with persistence and resilience.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM, WhatsApp, and Google Workspace.
- Empathetic approach toward parents and students; professional demeanour.
