DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role
A Network Security Pre-Sales Engineer works closely with customers and sales teams to understand security requirements and design tailored network security solutions. They demonstrate product capabilities, deliver technical presentations, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and ensure the proposed solutions align with both technical needs and business objectives. Their role is critical in building trust, showcasing value, and driving successful sales engagements.
This role will be reporting to Technical Manager
As The Pre-Sales Engineer , You Will
- Engage with customers to understand their network security requirements
- Design and propose tailored Infoblox DDI solutions that address customer needs
- Deliver Infoblox technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and compelling technical input
- Work closely with sales teams to develop winning strategies and solution positioning
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Support post-sales activity with smooth handover and implementation
- Maintain detailed documentation of solutions and customer engagements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
About you
The Ideal Pre-Sales Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in Network, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), and Network Security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Infoblox solutions including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DNS Security, and reporting.
- Good understanding of DNS architecture, DNSSEC, DHCP, IP address management, and network services troubleshooting.
- Experience in implementation, migration, administration, and support of Infoblox appliances and virtual environments.
