4 to 6 years overall software engineering experience; 4+ years in a clinical, pharma, or CRO engineering environment
• 3+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering — not data science, but engineering: building, deploying, and maintaining AI systems in production
• Demonstrated experience building at least one autonomous AI agent system that operates over real data with tool use and self-correction
• Proven track record delivering R-Shiny applications to production with multiple user roles, complex data views, and enterprise-level access control
• Direct exposure to CDISC clinical trial data pipelines — candidates without this will not be progressed regardless of AI strength
• Experience integrating at least two LLMs (Claude, Gemini, GPT-4, Llama, Mistral, or equivalent) into production software
