Perform maintenance and repair of all electrical, facilities and equipment to ensure a continuous source of light, heat, water, power, all electrician duties and recommending necessary changes in such facilities or equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Remain informed of changes in rules and procedures as required to correct deficiencies and improve performance
- Maintain records and submit regular and special reports as assigned
- Instruct assigned personnel in regard to safety policies and procedures, report all safety hazards to Department Manager and follow up to insure hazards are eliminated
- Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, install electrical equipment and repairs on all mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Perform general maintenance as directed when not assigned electrical repairs or troubleshooting
- Adheres to professional appearance standards as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must meet attendance guidelines as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Electrician license and well informed with NEC
- Ability to read blueprints, run conduit, wire and terminal devices, perform testing and troubleshooting
- 2-5 years’ experience as commercial electrician
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must qualify for company insurance coverage
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment
Preferred
- State certification or state trade license in one of the following areas: Waste Water, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing or other as seen fit
- 5 years in the field of Facilities Maintenance and knowledge in plumbing, electrical and HVAC
