POSITION SUMMARY
The Bar Manager will promote and grow the business, hire, train, and schedule employees. Ensures that guests are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. Work side by side with F&B Director to manage inventory and resources and ensure quality and safety controls are being followed. Ability to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. In order to succeed as a Bar Manager, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.
Hiring for Full Time. Shifts will include Evenings, Weekends and Holidays. This is not a tipped position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follow Casino and department policies and procedures, including all safety and service procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Order or requisition liquors and other supplies
- Create drink recipes.
- Work with the Food and Beverage Director on special bar menus.
- Create and implement department standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in the development of budgets for department operations.
- Hire and train staff. Document employee performance and administer employee evaluations.
- Prepare work schedules on a weekly basis.
- Prepare weekly time sheets for payroll.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 5 plus years of experience in a bar environment and 1 plus year of experience in management preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and understanding required.
Must be proficient in MICROS software.
Certifications & Licenses: Must pass State and Federal background check and a pre-employment drug screening (which does test for THC).
Key Cash handling Gaming License.
