TL;DR
Elsa builds AI agents that actually do real work, not gimmicks. We’re in the hands of some of the world’s biggest companies, and now we need someone to own how we show up in the press. You’ll be the person behind every launch moment, every feature drop, and every milestone story we put out.
What you’ll actually do
- Own launches end-to-end, from positioning brief to embargo outreach to tracking what landed
- Build real media relationships- not spray-and-pray pitches. We mean name-based convos with AI, tech & enterprise reporters at tier-1 outlets, newsletters and pods
- Write the story-press releases, pitches, bylines, Q&As. Sharp, specific, zero jargon
- Run the launch calendar- 90-day rolling view, cross-functional alignment, zero surprises
- Prep the founders- message houses, objection prep, the works. They walk in ready
- Manage agency/freelancer relationships- hold them accountable, squeeze value
- Measure everything - coverage, share-of-voice, inbound. Close the loop with the team
You’re a fit if you have
- 4-6 years in PR / comms focused on tech, SaaS, AI or dev tools (in-house, agency, or both)
- Launches you personally ran that landed in pubs you’re proud of - bring receipts
- Relationships with tech/AI reporters (or the hustle to build them fast)
- Killer written English- you can make a technical concept sound like a story a reporter actually wants to open
- Strong news sense - you know what’s a story and what isn’t
- Comfortable pushing back to founders when a pitch isn’t ready
- Hyper-organised - can run 5 launches in parallel without dropping balls
- Self-starter energy - you set the plan, not wait for one
Bonus vibes
- Launched AI or agent-based products before
- Analyst relations experience (Gartner, Forrester, a16z, etc.)
- Published bylines or ghostwritten thought leadership
- Done cross-border/international PR
