Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a PPP Expert in Industrial Projects within KPMG India’s advisory practice. The professional in this role will structure and evaluate Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models for industrial infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, risk allocation frameworks, and financial viability assessments. They will support project preparation by drafting concept notes, detailed project reports, bid documents, and concession agreements in collaboration with sector, legal, and financial specialists. The role involves interacting with government departments, private sector stakeholders, lenders, and multilateral agencies to gather inputs, present analyses, and support decision-making. The PPP Expert will also contribute to policy and regulatory reviews, support transaction advisory mandates, assist in bid process management, and prepare client-ready presentations, reports, and knowledge materials.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in PPP frameworks, transaction advisory, and infrastructure or industrial project development, including experience with feasibility studies and bid process management.
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling, project finance concepts, and assessment of commercial and contractual risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and transaction documents for public- and private-sector stakeholders.
- Proven stakeholder management and client-facing skills, including experience working with government agencies, industry partners, and financial institutions.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in PPPs or project finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in consulting, advisory, or government/PPP units on industrial, infrastructure, or economic development projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage multiple projects and timelines, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary, performance-driven team environment.
