Job Overview:
A PowerPoint Specialist is responsible for creating visually engaging, high-quality presentations that effectively communicate ideas, data, and messages. This role involves combining design skills with content understanding to deliver impactful presentations for business, training, and client-facing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
- Convert raw content, data, or ideas into visually appealing slides
- Ensure consistency in branding, layout, fonts, and design standards
- Create infographics, charts, diagrams, and visual elements to simplify complex information
- Collaborate with teams (content, marketing, sales, training) to understand requirements
- Enhance existing presentations by improving design, clarity, and storytelling
- Manage multiple presentation projects and meet deadlines
- Incorporate feedback and revise presentations accordingly
- Maintain a repository of templates, assets, and design guidelines
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Good sense of design, layout, color, and typography
- Ability to translate complex content into simple visuals
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Good communication and understanding of business requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communication, Marketing, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in presentation design or similar role
- Experience in corporate presentations, pitch decks, or training content
