Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversee the accounts payable process and team.
· Monitor and enforce internal controls and policies.
· Maintain and/or setup AP vendor information and update if needed.
· Process vendor data by inputting information from source documents.
· Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
· Coordinate weekly fuel expense charge out: check for accuracy, create journal entry, reconcile reports.
· Answer vendor inquiries.
· Assist accounts payable specialists as needed to complete processes and resolve vendor issues.
· Maintain AP spreadsheets and payable files.
· Assist CFO and/or controller as necessary.
· Perform weekly check run for payments.
· Assist in monthly closing.
· Communicate with credit card holders regarding purchases and/or to request receipts.
· Download credit card charges into the Microsoft access database as needed.
· Provide assistance to company credit card holders.
· Review charge offs of credit card receipts to ensure there are no errors.
· Reconcile all credit card accounts.
Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred
· Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles
· General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to analyze and interpret data
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions
· Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
· Consists of sedentary work. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
· Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.
· Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures or viewing a computer screen.
