Role Description
This is a contract, on-site PowerBuilder Developer role located in Pune Division. The PowerBuilder Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of systems using PowerBuilder technologies. Daily responsibilities include coding, debugging, optimizing application performance, writing efficient SQL queries, and collaborating with team members to ensure successful project execution. The developer will also assist in system troubleshooting and provide technical support when needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PowerBuilder development, including experience in creating and maintaining PowerBuilder applications.
- Strong experience with database design and development, including SQL and stored procedure writing.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in enterprise-level application development is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
